Charity begins a home, but it doesn’t stay there. For charity is a virtue of the heart, not of geography. Charity is big hearted wherever it is –at home and away from home.
The benevolent heart, the Good Samaritan, does more than talk. It acts. It hands over the needs; professed love without charity is not love. Remember, what you have won’t do you any good unless it blesses you or somebody else.
And don’t forget, you can’t help another without being helped. It is the law of returns.
